Sinergi Penggunaan Virtual Manipulative untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Matematika
Abstract
This article aims to descriptively synergise how using virtual manipulatives based on Android applications can increase the motivation to learn mathematics in students of SMA Negeri 6 Malang. This study uses a qualitative research design by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The article results indicate that virtual manipulatives with graphic visualization, such as GeoGebra, Desmos, Algeo, AI Math, and Mathway, can provide a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience for students. The increase in student learning motivation is characterized by increased active participation, interest in learning, and understanding of concepts. This finding provides important implications for the development of more effective and interesting mathematics learning. The results showed a significant increase in student learning motivation after implementing virtual manipulatives. The criteria for high learning motivation in students increased from 29.41% to 50%. This finding provides important implications for the development of more effective and interesting mathematics learning. It shows that the use of virtual manipulatives with graphic visualization can be an effective alternative to increase student learning motivation and can be an effective alternative to improve the quality of mathematics learning.
